¶ Hello, driver ! Lost in this new world ? Don’t worry, I’m here to help you !
Those windows are what we referred to as CaRP Windows. It is the main way you interact with numerous gameplay aspects of CaRP. All the windows can be closed and you will be able to bring them back out with a CaRP Window that you cannot close, “I” refers to it as the toolbar window.
When you join for the first time they will be all overlapping to the top left of the screen, you will need to sort them how you prefer, either in one window or scatter them around your screen.
Bellow you can see all of the CaRP Windows currently ingame.

By default, CaRP Windows is set to show only one window and the toolbar at the same time, and you can change what window is shown in the toolbar window. You can change that settings in the CaRP Settings Window(Wrench icon in the toolbar window). Most of the settings for CaRP can be found there, including Font size/Icon size for the CaRP Windows if you find them too big, and color/background opacity if you find them ugly.
You should find yourself in a purple dirty rusted Picolina missing all its body panels. This is your starter vehicle.

Locate a Garage (Green circle ground marker) Via the help window - nearest location section - wrench icon (garage), Hit Shift+C to go into free cam, and spawn a Turdie Pico via the CaRP Spawn Menu
You may be spectating other players, press TAB to switch between vehicles you are looking at, Until you find your vehicle. (You would be able to control it freely and it will not have the player name tag hovering above). If your vehicle does not exist or is the wrong vehicle to what you expect, refer to the above section.
This means that you don't have the other players car/trailer loaded and going throught it will cause damage to the other players but not you and this is big no-no, not because you don't have them loaded but because you "crashed" into them while they were unloaded on your side and this automatically makes you responsible for it.
You can have them unloaded to help with performance issues but you need to give them plenty of space since you don't know what vehicle they are driving

Repairing the vehicle via the “Insert” key, spawning vehicle, changing vehicle, modifying vehicle is all considered as resetting the vehicle, where your vehicle poofs and it's back to pristine condition. Resetting OUTSIDE of a garage will cost a minimum of $120 and more the more your vehicle is damaged. Resetting during a mission streak will reset the streak and lose the time bonus of the current mission. Resetting while carrying trade cargo risks losing the cargo based on how damaged your vehicle is.
Green ground marker circle, You can find it in the help window - nearest location section - wrench icon (garage). This is where all the vehicle modification/change/repair SHOULD happen. There is no minimum cost when resetting in a garage, meaning it is free if there is no/minimal damage. Should it cost, it still only costs a fraction compared to resetting outside the garage.

Unlike the vanilla career mode, in CaRP when you purchase a part, you own it forever. Should anything happen, you can always rebuild the vehicle config, no need to re-buy any parts you already bought before.
However parts are only owned per vehicle, meaning you cannot for example reuse the wheels from another vehicle
You also cannot sell any parts
With the Nearest Location finder in the CaRP Help Window, you can find yourself a gas station, it will be a weird purple/yellow mix ground marker, it is supposed to be purple one of the 2 ground markers.
Find the gas station UI, and you can refuel there
You have encountered a gas station that no one refueled, that is what the yellow marker is for, allowing players to haul fuel from fuel depot to individual fuel stations to make a profit and fill up the gas stations. But if no one haul fuel, the gas station will simply run out as players refill their fuel tank. (and gets more expensive as there is less fuel in stock). The price is capped at $75 for 5 Liter when fueling from a gas station.
You can always try your luck with another gas station or just emergency refuel.
Example of a Gas Station.

Use the button with the number 1 to refuel Diesel/Gas and the button with number 2 to refueld NOS, the left graph represents how much fuel is left at that Gas Station.

You can find the emergency refuel button in the CaRP Help Window, it allows you to refill 5 Liter at a cost of $250. If you have insufficient money, emergency refueling will be free.
Server sends a lot of stuff, but you should always pay attention to it, it will send you useful information... such as level progress, mission earnings, and other useful info
(this whole section just tells you please bloody read the chat/popup oftenly, we are not giving you 500 ads with pop ups just read it please i beg you)
the server will tell you if you are inside a garage, how much it costed, and also the vehicle you are driving and some of its stats, including the total part cost of the vehicle.
If you don’t have enough money to afford the reset, you will be swapped into the Turdie Picolina, with a new window popup and server messages telling you how much you owe the mechanic.
You are not allowed to change back to the vehicle you were driving if you don’t have enough money to pay for the amount you owe.
You are allowed to change to another vehicle which you don't own the repair cost for.
If you do have enough money, you will be allowed to change back into the vehicle, and the amount owed will be paid.
(Please note, changing vehicle counts as reset and therefore emergency repair rule applies here). If you were driving a Picolina already, repair costs will be waived when you don't have enough money.
the server will tell you how much the tow costed you
The towing fee is directly correlated to how far you are teleported when you reset, under ALL circumstances you should avoid teleporting yourself over long distances, it is frowned upon by the community and WILL BE REPORTED if it doesn’t pass the moral check by the community. Short distance teleport is free for kindness, it is also capped at $7k in case of user mistake. It WILL put you in severe debt, DO NOT TOY WITH THIS, YOU MAY WASTE HOURS OF YOUR LIFE
You have negative money. Since CaRP does not feature a loan system, should you find yourself with negative money, do missions to bring you back to positive money. And avoid any action that put you more in debt like towing long distances
Logging off doesn't have any consequences, it is when you log on that your bad log off decisions come to bite your ass. The vehicle spawning when you log on the server counts as reset, so all reseting rules apply. It is always suggested to log off at a garage with the vehicle fully repaired, no active mission and no cargo items in the vehicle. This should provide the most consistent behavior when logging back on
The log off button found in the garage UI is the same as repair and exit server.
you will NOT be charged in the event that the server restarted due to update/crash while you are not in a garage. Your cargo won’t be lost if you doesnt switch map, however mission streak is lost and on-going missions will be bugged, you type /abandon to unstuck the mission status.

What Is CaRP? - Career Mode For BeamNG.drive Multiplayer
Just some quick notes / disclaimers :
If you earn a negative time bonus, you completed the mission too quickly to be legit.
This can happen if you :

Parties require that all members of the group be near the mission starting point and stopped when the mission is accepted. Otherwise it will kick you from the party, as the entire party should need to complete the entire drive.
First, try typing /mission in chat. If nothing happens, try typing something random in chat and see if it takes a while to appear. If so, it is lag.

Make sure the "Show custom vehicles in vehicle selector" is checked.

Yes, don't worry, it's normal.
First, some parts are more expensive than the price in the list. The list price comes from BeamNG, whereas the final prices are determined on the CaRP server. For most parts, there is agreement on how much they should cost, but for some parts (especially race tires), expect to pay much more than what is listed.
Additionally, buying a part frequently contains other parts as well. For example, a fender may include a headlight, or wheel liners. This behavior is controlled by beamng itself, so just save a bit more before purchasing parts.
Also, it should never "steal" money. If you get despawned, the fee spawning back at a garage is minimal. If you can't afford all parts, none will be purchased. And any parts you have purchased previously will stay purchased.
If you have a specific example with screenshots or recordings of something happening that doesn't fall within this, post FULL proof in the bugs channel.
Also, sometimes the parts don't immediately get charged based on (I think) how far down in the parts tree a part is from the one you have purchased. Those parts will be charged on the next reset. This is especially visible when swapping frames in the D-Series, but other vehicles can have this happen as well. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about this, again because of the way BeamNG handles parts and configurations on vehicles.

The “pro license” is a requirement for trailer missions (= missions where you have to tow a trailer to the destination). These missions are longer because you need to be slower with a trailer, but they pay more. However, You can’t respawn during a trailer mission ! If you try to, the trailer will despawn and the mission will be aborted.
In order to buy a pro license, type the corresponding command in the chat (cf. the vehicle price list in #info-and-guides).
Important : in order to have trailer missions, your car needs to be pro licensed, but you also have to install a tow hitch.

Place your car on a yellow spot and press E, like any other mission.

Sometimes a trailer will spawn, that means you’ll have to tow it.

Trailers always attempt to spawn to your left, so position your vehicle carefully before accepting missions while your pro-license is active.

Attach the trailer (press L by default on keyboard)

Then you can drive with your trailer to your destination. Don’t forget to go slow : if you respawn, the mission will be aborted !

When you are at the destination, press E to finish it, like any other mission. Compared to the normal missions, you have to go a little further relative to the point in order to finish the mission.

As you can see, you gain a lot more money than regular missions. That said, it’s much slower and dangerous.
To start a mission, place your car on a mission giver and press E or type “/mission” in chat.
When you complete a mission, you will gain a variable amount of money, depending on 6 factors :

In order to go to the finish point of your mission, blue arrows on the road will guide you. However, in some missions, it doesn’t indicate very well the exact emplacement of the finish point, so you’ll have to search a bit.
